Soap Care

Like any bar of soap, especially all natural preservative free bars prefer to dry out in-between uses. Use a draining soap dish to help prolong the life of your bars. Why not try a soap dish from our collection!

WHAT DOES COLD PROCESSED SOAP MEAN?

Cold process soap is a method of producing soap that requires no extra heat to create the soap - it is therefore ‘cold'. That doesn't mean that things don't get hot - the combination of lye with natural butters and oils create its own heat. A chemical reaction between the ingredients takes place, leaving you, quite magically, with a block of soap. Making soap is definitely both art and science. We use the cold process method at DOORVIĆ to preserve the benefits of plant-derived oils and butters.

WHY COLD PROCESSED SOAP?

Incredible qualities-from all our oils and butters like Olive Oil, Shea Butter and herbal extracts-are praised for gently nourishing the skin. This is because each ingredient is carefully sourced, and the process controlled from beginning to end. The cold process method is ideal for preserving the benefits of plant-derived oils and butter.

HOW TO ENJOY THE BEST SOAP?

Like any bar of soap, all natural handmade bars prefer to dry out in-between uses. Please use a draining soap dish to help prolong the life of your bars.

Our soaps are preservative-free and we recommend that you use them within 24 months as this is the average shelf life of the natural oils and butters that we use to make them. Please think of these guidelines not so much as restrictions, but as an incentive to go ahead, open and enjoy our products when you receive them!
